Pokémon: Every Evolution Stone Evolution
There are some Pokémon that require the use of Evolution Stones in order to evolve, some of which changed over the course of each generation.
Not allPokémonevolve equally, as some of them require the aid of outside items in order to achieve new forms. There are lots of Pokémon that require the aid of special Evolution Stones in order to evolve.

There were only four Evolution Stones inPokémon RedandBlue, but more were gradually introduced over time. There were even two Evolution Stones cut from the series, as the leaked beta ofPokémon GoldandSilverhad a Heart Stone and a Poison Stone that were planned but never made the final cut.
